INVITACIÓN CHARLA MAGISTRAL Dr. Tristan McCowan

Tristan McCowan is Professor of International Education at the Institute of Education, University College London. His work focuses on higher education and international development, particularly in Latin America and Sub-Saharan Africa, including issues of access, quality, innovation and sustainability. His latest book is Higher Education for and beyond the Sustainable Development Goals (Palgrave Macmillan, 2019), and from 2015-2021 he was editor of Compare: a Journal of International and Comparative Education. He is currently leading the multi-country GCRF project Transforming Universities for a Changing Climate.

Tristan McCowan es catedrático de Educación Internacional en el Instituto de Educación del University College de Londres. Su trabajo se centra en la educación superior y el desarrollo internacional, especialmente en América Latina y el África subsahariana, con particular énfasis en temáticas asociadas al acceso, calidad, innovación y sostenibilidad. Su último libro es Higher Education for and beyond the Sustainable Development Goals (Palgrave Macmillan, 2019). Entre los años 2015 a 2021 fue editor de Compare: A Journal of International and Comparative Education. Actualmente dirige el proyecto multinacional del GCRF Transforming Universities for a Changing Climate.
